A workshop facilitated by Dr Michael Flood, a leading international voice in engaging with men and boys to end violence against women.
Dr Michael Flood will share his research and practical knowledge to address what men can do to prevent and reduce violence against women. Dr Flood is an Australian sociologist and an associate professor at the Queensland University of Technology School of Justice. He is a researcher, educator, trainer, and activist who has made a significant contribution to both scholarship on and community understanding of men's violence against women. He has published widely on the primary prevention of violence against women, as well as such topics as men and gender inequality, young men’s heterosexual relations, anti-feminist men’s groups, and pornography, and his most recent book is Engaging Men and Boys in Violence Prevention.

'Us Too' is a peer-led project on domestic abuse for women with learning disabilities and/or autism. This webinar will set out the need for the project, its progress and plans. Team members will talk about why domestic abuse and sexual violence are much more likely to happen to you if you have learning disabilities/autism, and what we need to do about it. It will discuss peer-led approaches and new ways of working in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Facilitated by Rod Landman, Us Too Project Co-ordinator Association for Real Change .
