General Election 2019

White Ribbon Day, 25th November, is going to fall in the middle of the general election campaign. We want candidates from all parties to show their commitment to ending male violence against women by making the White Ribbon Promise to never ‘commit, excuse, or remain silent about male violence against women’, #makethepromise and wearing a white ribbon.

It is essential that candidates are challenged on whether their priorities, if elected, will include reforming the law on domestic abuse; as the long needed Domestic Abuse Bill was making its journey through the house as the election was called.
