White Ribbon UK invited to England World Cup warm-up match

Our World Cup campaign was given a massive boost at the England v Costa Rica warm up match which took place at Elland Road in Leeds on 7th June. We were delighted that the Football Association invited White Ribbon UK to be present at the match, the last of their friendlies for England, prior to their departure to Qatar for the World Cup competition.

Instances of domestic abuse increase during the World Cup tournaments. This campaign highlights this sad reality and calls up all men to never use, excuse or remain silent about men’s violence against women.
