Please look out for an email following Step 1 with instructions on how to access the induction videos and the final registration form. You will need to complete the short induction and agree to the Code of Conduct in order to finalise your registration, which will be confirmed in a welcome letter* sent to you.

As an active ally working to support our mission to prevent violence against women, we provide custom badges to Ambassadors on our shop. Ambassadors can take advantage of a 10% discount, included in your welcome letter.

Please note, if you are an Ambassador working at an Accredited Organisation, we will send your complimentary badge to your Accreditation Lead Contact. Please liaise with them to receive this. Not sure who serves as your organisation’s lead contact? Get in touch!

*Welcome letters are not sent out automatically. The White Ribbon UK teams sends these out every Friday morning. This may change during holiday periods.

HEAR FROM OUR AMBASSADORS

Our ambassadors are vital to our work as they speak out to end men’s violence against women and girls in their communities, workplaces and among their friends.

This is what some of them have said:

Barry: Becoming an Ambassador has provided impetus, resources, ideas and focus for someone who was already very passionate about eliminating male violence towards women. It has also brought me together with other like-minded men who similarly feel that we need to recognise male violence against women as a man’s issue, and that the responsibility for ending it should rest primarily with men. I am proud to wear the White Ribbon Ambassador badge on a daily basis, and feel that it helps prompt the much-needed conversations with other men and boys that may not otherwise take place.

Mike: It’s basically about empowering men to not be bystanders to domestic abuse and to empower men to become ambassadors for the cause. Obviously men are victims as well and we are doing a lot of work within the police to incorporate training into male victims as well. The majority of the perpetrators are men, and if we can target the highest level of perpetrators then hopefully we can help lower the number of them which means we will have fewer victims.”

Steve: Whatever I can do in solidarity with women and their fight for the basic rights of safety and fairness, will be also in my own interests as a man. There are no ‘losers’ in this process, in spite of what some in the ‘Men’s Rights’ movement seem to fear. Because when relationships are based on equality and respect, everybody gains. That’s surely a future worth working for”.
